PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN WITH NDDs
Children with NDDs in Bangladesh face persistent barriers to receive essential services, education, and meaningful participation in society. In Rajshahi and surrounding areas of northwestern Bangladesh, access to appropriate education, therapeutic interventions, skills development, and comprehensive support remains limited relative to the needs of children and their families. In response, FWCA operates integrated support centers known as Anondodhara Centers, providing daily living and special education, therapeutic services, and skills development to strengthen children’s abilities, independence, and participation in family and community life. Through a child-centered, inclusive, and rights-based approach, FWCA promotes children’s dignity, well-being, and development. Its work also encompasses family engagement, community awareness, disability rights advocacy, and capacity development for staff, parents, and caregivers.
